Professional recruiter Antal is to open four new offices in Frankfurt, Munich and Nuremburg in Germany and Barcelona in Spain.

The move takes the Antal network to 62 business units across 29 countries.

Antal’s Nuremburg office will be led by former Siemens employee Ralf Roehrle who will focus on appointments in the engineering, manufacturing and transportation sectors.

Frankfurt’s banking and financial services unit is headed by ING and GE veteran, Tariq Amirzada, while the Munich office will handle general management appointments under entrepreneur Peter Timmer.

IT specialist Adam Kalis will lead Antal’s new Spanish office and will focus on technical roles in the telecoms and IT sectors across the country from the Barcelona office.

Antal director, Doug Bugie, says: “It’s not hard to build a successful business when markets are booming.

“Because we’ve invested so heavily in finance, marketing, training and IT infrastructure our people can hit the ground running wherever they are in the world and whatever market they are focused on. And by continually pushing out in this way we expect to be firmly positioned as one of the lead players in international recruitment when the recovery comes.”
