Apex Health and Social Care officially launched its Hire a Hero initiative in Manchester’s Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium.

The campaign, launched by Karen Chadwick, chief executive of Apex Health and Social Care, urges employers to recruit ex-service people, who according to Chadwick:  “have transferable skills, considerable focus, high standards, strong work ethics and make outstanding team players”.
