Apex Health and Social Care has announced its expansion creating 62 new jobs in Preston since reopening last year.

The independent nursing and social care agency has won a series of new contracts seeing the agency outgrow its former offices in Lancaster Road and reinstalling in Fishergate Court with extended training facilities to facilitate all requirements of the nursing and care sector.

And as part of its expansion, the team of seven at the office will be looking to recruit a further 50 nurses and carers to the region.

Paul Fry, director, Northern region, said: “Apex has already taken on many new staff since reopening the Preston branch last April with this recruitment process set to continue.”

The news comes as Apex unveils its new image and rebranding.
