Multi-sector recruiter Aberdeen Appointments Agency (AAA) has appointed Gus Porter as managing director.

Having initially joined as a recruitment consultant in 1977, Porter was promoted to senior level posts before buying the business with director Stuart McWilliam in 2007.

He will oversee the strategic development of the business, while sourcing finance executives and advising clients on recruitment strategies.

Meanwhile, Amanda Porter rejoins the firm following a career break as a director. She will oversee the strategic development of the business, its marketing division and AAA’s corporate image.
