Ceri Assiratti, insurance firm Admiral Group’s head of people services, has been appointed as an independent member of the board of social housing organisation RCT Homes.

Assiratti, who joined Admiral in 1995 and is a former managing director of elephant.co.uk, was appointed HR chief for the Admiral Group in 2007.

During his tenure, the organisation has grown to employ almost 3,000 employees in centres at Cardiff, Newport and Swansea and establish operations in seven other countries.

RCT Homes’ chief executive Andrew Lycett says: “RCT Homes’ customer services centre handles more than 150,000 calls from tenants each year and our staff make thousands of visits to tenants homes.

“Ceri’s experience of embedding top-class customer service into an organisation will be absolutely invaluable to us.”
