Options Group, a global executive search and strategic consulting firm, has appointed John Carreras as executive director, head of Options Group’s new office in Miami.

Carreras will lead the private wealth management (PWM) practice in the Americas and will spearhead the launch of this office. The new location and senior hire are a part of Options Group’s expansion plans to serve the growing demand for financial recruitment and advisory services worldwide.

Options Group co-founder, Michael Karp, says: “We continue to grow our geographical footprint and hire leading recruitment specialists to address the priorities of our clients. Over the past six months, we launched an office in Frankfurt and hired additional information technology, commodities, asset management and investment banking consultants.”

Carreras was most recently president and founder of Private Client Advisors (PCA), an executive recruitment firm that specialised in wealth adviser placements.
