Essie Russell, former talent acquisition director at drinks business Diageo, has moved to take up the role of senior talent acquisition director at EMC.

Russell has worked at Diageo for the past three years.

At Diageo she was responsible for recruitment across all levels to support the growth of the drinks business, including the delivery of both internal and external recruitment.

IT systems, software and services firm EMC aims to “optimise information infrastructure to meet growing demands for enterprise content management, security, archiving, storage and visualisation”.

The company currently employs roughly 48,500 worldwide.
