Former chief executive of the NHS Confederation, Steve Barnett, has been appointed special adviser to Green Park Interim & Executive Resourcing.

He will working closely with the firm’s healthcare practice.

Barnett was previously senior director for HR and organisational development at the Home Office, and deputy director general of Human Resources for the NHS (Department of Health).
