Executive search firm Warren Partners has appointed Sally Johnson as director.

Johnson was previously a partner at executive search firm The Orcid Partnership.

She has also set up her own business consultancy to advise membership organisations, including the Institute of Personnel and Development and the Association of Corporate Treasurers, and was a managing director of the publishing division of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Managing director Vicky Lawton says: “Sally’s appointment is the next step in our strategic growth plan and follows that of Marcus Lorenzo. We are planning to recruit another two directors during 2011.

“Executive recruitment was hit hard by the downturn, but this has also created exciting opportunities for strong businesses like Warren Partners. We have won a significant number of assignments from both new and existing FTSE 250, mid-cap and entrepreneurial SME clients in recent months.”
