Appointments: KPMG appoints new head of recruitment

As KPMG launches a recruitment drive, the professional services firm has appointed Iain McLaughlin as UK head of recruitment. 

As KPMG launches a recruitment drive, the professional services firm has appointed Iain McLaughlin as UK head of recruitment. 

McLaughlin joins KPMG from GlaxoSmithKline where he was global talent business leader. 

Meanwhile, in the UK the firm anticipates recruiting 7,500 people over the next three years, while KPMG Europe expects member firms will recruit around 21,000 people over the next three years.

Michelle Quest, UK head of people at KPMG, says:  “I am very pleased that someone of Iain’s calibre and experience is joining us. Recruitment is central to our growth plans and an effective recruitment function can provide a business with a real competitive advantage.”
