Talent management solutions provider StepStone Solutions has appointed Nick Discombe as chairman.

The former chief executive of US-based Witness Systems will help the board and management team under CEO Matthew Parker to help continue to drive global growth of the business.

Discombe’s appointment follows the management buyout of StepStone Solutions from Axel Springer, with funding provided by HgCapital.
