Former global chief executive at FiveTen Group, Graham Palfery-Smith, has joined the board of student-focused event staffing company, Brightsparks Recruitment, as non-executive chairman.

Palfery-Smith is also joining the board of Palfery Production as a non-executive director. Palfery Productions, which is run by Palfery-Smith’s son John, specialises in the production of visual digital media for recruitment companies.

Palfery-Smith says: “I’m putting together a small portfolio, who I will work with as a non-executive, of about eight businesses run by ambitious people who ‘get it’ and want to do something over the next two to five years. These businesses are likely to be in recruitment, a sector that I’ve always been passionate about or allied to.”
