International service company Serco Group has appointed group HR director of Lloyds Banking Group, Angie Risley, as a non-executive director.

Risley is a member of Lloyds Banking Group’s executive committee, with responsibility for developing group-wide people practices for over 110,000 employees. She was an executive director of Whitbread until May 2007.

Risley will also be a member of Serco’s remuneration committee and will succeed as chair when Leonard Broese van Groenou ends his current term next year.
