Aspen Partners: new interim and contract service

In-house recruitment specialist Aspen Partners International has launched a new interim and contract service.

In-house recruitment specialist Aspen Partners International has launched a new interim and contract service.

Aspen Partners has witnessed a rise in demand for contractors to deliver specific projects and sees this as just the start of a new trend.

Andrew Mountney, director at Aspen Partners, says: “To meet demand where it occurs, recruitment will have to be flexible and innovative, hiring to deliver campaigns to tight deadlines with minimal impact on the bottom line.

“At the senior end of the function there are a number of interims being hired to review and improve process before quickly moving on, leaving behind an efficient and lower cost direct sourcing model.

“It is clear that in the current climate resourcing remains a dynamic area of HR but that recruitment demands are increasingly project based. Recruitment functions will remain lean through 2009 with few opportunities to hire permanent staff.”
