The Interim Management Association (IMA) has appointed Marcus Astley, managing director of management resource provider Niche Resources, and Tarquin Bennett-Coles, director of RSA Interims, IMA executive board members responsible for external affairs.

Astley and Bennett-Coles will focus on developing relationships with professional and educational bodies, in addition to exploring ways of working with government bodies.

IMA chairman Paul Botting welcomed the additions to the board. “This industry is still in its infancy and hasn’t yet reached its full potential.

“It is therefore important we continue to work with the wider business community to look for new ways to develop this innovative and aspirational sector.

“We look forward to working with Marcus and Tarquin to build on the hard work and success already achieved.”

Synergy Group secures buying solutions’ supplier status

Multi-sector recruiter The Synergy Group has been awarded awarded a buying solutions framework agreement to provide learning and development and eLearning solutions to the public sector.

The Synergy Group will play a key role in helping the public sector to purchase training solutions that offer value for money and tangible results.
