ATA Recruitment and Ganymede Solutions have announced increased profits for the period ending 31 December 2008.

ATA Recruitment and Ganymede Solutions have announced increased profits for the period ending 31 December 2008.

The staffing firms, part of recruitment, training and events firm the RTC Group, achieved operating profits of £1.05m, (2007: £849,000), with net fee income of £7.2m.

However, RTC says the impact of recessionary influences became evident during the final quarter of last year with commendable operating profits of £1.05m, (2007: £0.85m).

RTC added that recruitment continued to perform well and delivered a pleasing growth of turnover and profits.

The group as a whole delivered pre-tax profits of £295,000 and earnings per share of 1.58p, after recording an impairment charge of £250,000 against goodwill.
