North-West recruitment and training consultants Linda Taylor Associates scooped a top award at the Region’s Annual Business Awards 2007.

The Premier Suite at Bolton Wanderers’ Reebok Stadium was the venue for a gathering of businesses ranging from small and medium enterprises to multi-million pound organisations. Guests were entertained by TV actor and comedian Ted Robbins and Radio Five Live presenter and local personality Victoria Derbyshire presented the Awards.

Award categories were sponsored by national businesses 02 and the Royal Bank of Scotland as well as regional organisations such as accountants CLB Coopers and Lythgoe Motors.

The judges awarded this year’s prestigious Family Business of the Year Award to mother-and-daughter business Linda Taylor Associates.

The business, run by Linda and her daughter Kate Taylor Shaw, managing director, has branches in Swinton and Bolton town centres.
