Multi-sector recruiter Huntress has announced that Barclays Ventures has acquired a substantial stake in the company.

Multi-sector recruiter Huntress has announced that Barclays Ventures has acquired a substantial stake in the company.

Barclays Ventures now holds a significant state in Huntress, alongside Nomura and the management.

Chief executive Gary Laurence is to step back from his position at Huntress with immediate effect.

Chairman Stephen Ross says: “I would like to thank Gary Laurence for his invaluable contribution in founding and building a highly respected business and wish him well for the future. We are extremely pleased to have Barclays Ventures on board as a significant shareholder and are confident that this backing provides a strong platform to develop the business further.”
