Berry appointed MD as part of Xchangeteam’s restructuring
Xchangeteam’s founder, Emma Brierley, moves from chief executive to chairman and she will focus primarily on the strategic direction of the company. Berry will drive day-to-day operations and will be supported by Maggie Maupin and Nick O’Connor who move to new business unit director positions. Maupin is now in charge of the PR & communications, events and integrated marketing teams. O’Connor heads up the media, digital, creative and editorial teams.
Berry brings with him more than 22 years of recruitment management experience which spans a wide variety of sectors within the professional services arena. He has worked for both large corporate and smaller, niche recruitment companies such as Manpower, Elan and the Recruitment Investment Group.
Berry said: “I am really excited about joining Xchangeteam as not only does the company have a very strong brand, but also a committed and very able team. The company is now actively seeking a number of high quality hires and partnerships with a view to strengthening our offering across a number of disciplines in response to our clients’ demands.”

IT-specific rec-to-rec company, Red Ventures, has appointed Gilles Baudet as a senior consultant focusing on the placement of experienced IT recruiters in the London region.
Public sector recruiter Morgan Hunt has announced a string of high profile appointments. The group board has been strengthened by two nonexecutive directors, Terry Benson and Richard Corfield. Benson was chief executive of Michael Page from 1990 to 2006. Corfield was a main board director of insurance broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson before acquiring another broker, RK Harrison. James Stephenson has joined as director of technical. He previously spent 10 years at Eden Brown as sales director.Paddy Burtt has joined as a director. He spent 15 years with Badenoch & Clark, and will set up a division focusing on private sector finance and accounting. Jason Armes joins in Dubai as a director, where he will become general manager. He worked for Hays for 12 years, and has been managing director for the Arabian Gulf Region for Hays since 2005. Simon Jennings joins as an associate director from Eden Brown where he was regional director. He will be responsible for running regional offices in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle. Jessica Myers joins as HR director. With 20 years’ experience in senior HR and training roles, she was head of HR at Crone Corkill, the recruitment business. Gavin Megnauth joins as director, IT and operations. He has 20 years’ experience in senior IT and operational roles at British Airways, Randstad and the Shaw Trust. Mark Robins joins as an associate director to run the public sector finance team. He previously had 10 years’ experience at Michael Page and Marks Sattin.
Public sector recruitment specialist, Morgan Law, is expanding its executive search team with the appointment of Giles Farmer as senior business manager. Farmer will focus on recruiting interim management positions. Previously with Michael Page, Farmer has spent the last 10 years specialising in finance and IT recruitment for the public and not-for-profit sectors.
Team Capital, the executive search firm, has chosen Francisco Martin to be a non-executive director.
Morson International has appointed Keith Sharpe as consultant in the firm’s Barrow office. He will specialise in technical recruitment.

Jon Mannall has joined Lorien Resourcing as client development director. He will spearhead Lorien’s expansion within the outsourcing marketplace. Mannall joins Lorien from Reed Consulting, where he was operations director for RPO and managed service solutions.
Steve Griffin joins project management specialist CPS Resourcing as senior recruitment consultant in Bristol. Griffin was formerly manager of the Bristol team of the agency Freelancers and brings with him six years’ experience in the project management and construction sectors.
