Legal recruiter bought for £8m
HR and recruitment company BNB has purchased the legal recruiter Garfield Robbins Limited in a deal worth £8m.
BNB will pay an initial consideration of £500,000 and a further maximum consideration of £7.5m, subject to the business achieving its financial targets over the next three years.
BNB’s group turnover rose to £63.1m for the six months ending 30 June 2003, from £60.5m in 2002. Operating losses fell to £0.2m.
Turnover at Norman Broadbent, BNB’s executive search branch, was down 9.1% year-on-year to £5.1m.
Chairman Julian Treger said: “The results for the first half year are encouraging and we are experiencing the usual seasonal upturn in September.”
