Richards: managing intelligence

Bond Vantage is based on the technology behind its established Bond Adapt but has been specially designed to fit with how executive search firms work. One of the main selling points of the system, which is aimed at large or small firms, is that candidate corporate intelligence can be stored and easily retrieved from the system.

“The executive search industry is intrinsically dependent upon personal relationships,” said Tim Richards, managing director of Bond International Software (UK). “Detailed, current market intelligence and rapid, high-quality results are essential. Therefore, the greatest asset of any executive search consultancy is its information, and success is reliant on timely and reliable access to it. But the business has to be supported by the correct infrastructure and tools.”

All candidate and client information, from notes to formal correspondence, can be captured and securely stored in a readily searchable format. This drastically reduces the chances of a valuable conversation about a potential candidate or a particular market sector being lost to the business even if it took place more than a year ago.

“Our new software provides an ability to manage the vast wealth of information that executive search consultancies gather from multiple sources and also structure it so that connections and relationships within the records can be easily identified,” said Richards.

The software is aimed at all levels and areas within an executive search firm, including administration, research and consultancy. It has built-in customer relationship management (CRM) functionality, detailed search and CV parsing, assignment management and reporting functions, and full online and remote access.

Richards added that the software has been developed so that it doesn’t impinge on a consultancy’s way of working. “It is solely designed to facilitate working practices, not reinvent them,” he said. “Because of its innate flexibility, Bond Vantage can be tailored to meet any particular requirements or processes an executive search consultancy may have, but the functions and abilities of the software also map exactly with the realities of the industry.”

Although Vantage is a standalone product, it can be integrated with other Bond software.
