The competition, which will run in the UK, US and Australia opens at 9.45am (in the UK, US and Australia, opening times tbc) with a 15-minute conference call explaining details of the structure and rules of the day.
Participants will be provided with a central local rate number to ring and a spreadsheet to report scores at two hourly intervals. Selling starts at 10am. Points are won on both activity and results. Running totals will be posted in a league table in the Good News Group (Recruiters) throughout the day.
Points will be awarded as follows:
1 point: dial with no decision maker contact
2 points: decision maker call
3 points: drop in agreed
4 points: visit booked, CV sent on request from spec call
5 points: vacancy or booking taken from a company dealt with in the last six months
6 points: vacancy or booking taken from a new company
7 points: interview or booking filled from a spec call
Prizes will be awarded to the highest individual score and the highest company score. The company score will be determined by dividing the total score by the number of sellers.
Boorman told Recruiter: “The group is international. The US competition will run at 5pm (UK time) around the same time as Australia. I think Australia and the US will run at the same time, I am just trying to get confirmation on that.”
