Interim management specialist Boyden celebrated its 60th birthday with a party at the Royal Opera House on Thursday.

A champagne reception was held at the Covent Garden venue to mark the occasion, with more than 400 people attending the event, which featured a live opera performance.

In a short speech to welcome the attendees, Boyden chief executive Nick Robeson said: “We are delighted that so many people joined us to celebrate 60 years of Boyden’s work within the interim management and executive search industries. Being able to bring together so many talented clients, candidates and staff, past and present, under one roof is a reminder of how much our company has grown and developed over the past 60 years.

“We look forward to another 60 years of continued partnership between our clients and candidates and delivering the highest standards of professional service for which Boyden is renowned.”

In addition to Boyden representatives from many of its 65 worldwide offices, senior executives of the company’s clients, including Royal Bank of Scotland, MFI, Serco, ICI, Vodafone and BT were in attendance.
