Brightpool, the sister company to interim management provider Interim Partners, has a five-year plan to appoint 80 consultants and directors, according to new managing director Guy Emmerson.
Emmerson, who joined the firm earlier this month having previously led the financial services business unit at Badenoch & Clark, London as an associate director, told Recruiter that Brightpool was in final negotiations to move into an unnamed larger London location to house 10 experienced consultants initially.
According to Doug Baird, Interim Partners managing director, Brightpool plans to provide a more “joined up” service covering the same sectors as Interim Partners in finance, projects and change management, risk and compliance, and HR and operations. While Interim Partners continues to place interims at or just below board level, with day rates from £500 upwards, Brightpool recruits for the level below that (with day rates up to £500).
Baird says: “We want to leverage the relationships we have already got within Interim Partners. That is our strategy for the short term. As we begin to leverage more of those relationships, we will be hiring people that are really experienced to deliver for our clients. For example, Interim Partners has a relationship with RSA, formerly known as Royal and Sun Alliance, and now Brightpool is working with the change management part of their business placing professional contractors within them.”
