Communicate Recruitment Solutions has established a new IT division.

Kathryn Haralabidis, who brings with her seven years experience in IT recruitment, most recently from Gravitas Recruitment Group, joins the business to establish and grow the IT team, which will offer both permanent and interim IT recruitment to blue chip firms. 

Haralabidis says: “IT is still a huge area in recruitment — several surveys have been released stating that Web 2.0, .Net, Java and wireless technologies are hot it the market at the moment. 

“Network and security skills are also becoming more and more important, especially as companies expose more and more of their networks and data to the world.

“Recently there has been a flurry of activity among companies and government agencies to upgrade or relocate their data centres to take advantage of virtualisation and other data automation and efficiency gains.”

Communicate specialises in placing mid to senior finance, treasury, change and IT professionals into banking, commerce, and industry and consulting firms.
