Education recruiter Public Recruitment Group has won shareholder approval to change its name to Synarbor.

It has also revealed that as part of the its restructure and new direction, Matt Ellis will step down from the board and leave the group by mutual agreement.

Dean Kelly, chief executive of Synarbor, says: “It is clear that there is a growing need for a coherent support services offering to the educational and social care sectors that goes beyond recruitment and human resourcing to include procurement and learning services. And we have repositioned and restructured the company to make sure it has the optimum structure to be able to reflect these changing needs.”
