Group Bel gets Active
French multinational cheese marketer Group Bel has deployed Jobpartners’ ActiveCenter and ActivePlanner products to better monitor the career development of its 1,500 managers across 30 different countries. Group Bel is to also implement talent management solutions Jobpartners’ e-recruitment module ActiveRecruiter to help streamline its existing recruitment and internal mobility processes.

Parity gets the NHS call
IT recruiter Parity Group has won a contract with NHS Direct to develop and support a new health information search portal. The £1.4m contract is due for completion in March 2011. The new system aims to help NHS Direct call centre staff in dealing with requests for information and enquiries from the general public.
Networkers staff Ceridian
IT recruiter Networkers International has been appointed sole UK supplier to payroll and administration services provider Ceridian. Networkers will supply contract and permanent staff across a range of business areas including IT, HR administration and payroll processing, finance and expense management, professional services and consultancy support and will help source up to 300 staff over the next five years for Ceridian’s new headquarters at Braehead, near Glasgow.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International has acquired New Zealand search firm Bell McCaw Bampfylde. The Wellington-based company will operate only at the very top level of New Zealand business and government, working with NZX Top 50 firms as well as educational institutions, start-ups, private equity and venture capital groups.
