Public sector recruiter Capita Group has bought Talis Information (TIL) for £18.5m, with a further £2.5m dependent on profit performance in the year to 31 March 2012.

TIL provides management software and managed services.

Capita chief executive Paul Pindar says: “The acquisition of TIL will enable Capita to offer a wider set of services to the further and higher education markets and to local authorities, where we have a strong client base.”
