Chicago-based retained executive search firm Collier+Vinson International has bought retained executive search firm OberlinGroup.

The OberlinGroup has offices in strategic metropolitan areas throughout the US. It provides executive search expertise in the academia, energy, engineering, financial services, healthcare, e-commerce, consumer goods, manufacturing, nonprofit, professional services, telecommunications and media/entertainment.

Richard Thomas, chairman and chief executive of Collier+Vinson International, says: “We could not have found a better addition and strategic fit than the OberlinGroup. The geographical locations of Oberlin provide leadership in markets currently unserved by Collier+Vinson. Amazingly, Collier+Vinson and Oberlin have only one shared client.”
