CWU seeking injunction to stop ‘strike breakers’
13 September 2012
The Communication Workers Union (CWU) is going to the High Court on Friday to request an injunction to stop the Royal Mail from using “strike breakers”.
The union accuses Royal Mail of using agency workers as “strike breakers” to carry out the duties of CWU members involved in the ongoing UK-wide industrial dispute.
A CWU spokesperson told Recruiter that it would be going to the High Court on Friday but could not firm legal details, saying that not much more could be added at this stage.
