Not-for-profit organisation D&AD has partnered with Hewlett-Packard (HP) to launch its graduate academy aiming to help graduates break into the creative industry.
The initiative starts with a five-day creative boot camp for the top 100 entrants and culminating in a paid work placement at some of UK’s top creative agencies, for the Academy’s 50 most talented pupils. All 50 pupils then get a paid industry placement and the top students will also receive an HP workstation, which they can use in the creative job they go into.
The academy is working with partners such as One Dot Zero, Tag Worldwide and Real World to create a platform that uses creative design and technology to foster multi disciplinary learning, connecting apprenticeship graduates with future employees.
