Darwin Rhodes (Switzerland), a subsidiary of Darwin Rhodes Group, has obtained a Federal licence which will enable it to trade fully both within the domestic Swiss market and in placements into and out of the country.

Peter Dunphy, the German speaking chief executive of Darwin Rhodes Group and director of the Swiss subsidiary, will spearhead the growth of the business, while an office has already been opened in Zurich.

Dunphy says: “Switzerland is developing further as a major insurance and financial centre. The threat to competing off-shore locations and Switzerland’s close bilateral relations with the EU are helping Zurich in particular to establish itself as a serious competitor to London and New York.

“To our knowledge no other international insurance specialist recruiter has obtained the necessary Federal approval to place within and into Switzerland so we are delighted with this development.”
