A number of local authorities in Hertfordshire have been awarded a five year contract to provide temporary staff through employee procurement agency Comensura. The deal is thought to be worth £4.9m for 2007 and 2008 combined.

360° and Vivid to merge
Recruitment advertising agencies Vivid Communications and 360° are merging. The Vivid name will cease to exist. The company's entire team will take up residence in 360°'s offices in Islington.
UK recruiters target India

Directorbank buys Hanson
Senior executive staffing agency Directorbank has continued its aggressive growth strategy with the purchase of Hanson Green — the London based non-executive search firm for an undisclosed amount. Directorbank and Hanson Green will continue to be known by their own brands within the Directorbank Group.
Strategic partnership
Recruitment web design firm Zero One Design and seach engine optimisation consultancy Ianson Internet Marketing are to enter into a strategic partnership. Zero One Design, which operates more than 500 jobsites, will benefit from Ianson's internet marketing and search engine optimisation expertise.
