Greatfleet buy. Greatfleet has confirmed the acquisition of Qualitas, the Dublin and Edinburgh-based recruitment group, for an initial consideration of £3.4m, made up of a mixture of cash and shares.

Greatfleet has confirmed the acquisition of Qualitas, the Dublin and Edinburgh-based recruitment group, for an initial consideration of £3.4m, made up of a mixture of cash and shares. The group comprises Qualitas People Solutions (Ireland), Qualitas People Solutions (UK), Alliance Recruitment (Ireland) and Qualitas HR Solutions (Ireland). Stuart Blake, chief executive of Greatfleet, said: "We see this as an important step in Greatfleet becoming the number one legal recruitment business in Europe."

... ARM buyback
Advanced Resourced Managers (ARM) has become a fully independent company following a shares buyback. The Hampshire-based recruiter has bought back shares originally owned by external investor Barclays Ventures. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Cactus on Home Retail PSL
Worcester-based Cactus Search has been included in the group preferred supplier list for the Home Retail Group, whose companies include Argos and Homebase. Guy Masters, director of Cactus Search, said: "We are delighted to be supporting such a well-known, strong and reputable brand."

Reed links with I-resign
Reed.co.uk has agreed a partnership with I-resign.com, a site that lists jobs that people have recently resigned from and provides advice on how to resign. Reed.co.uk will supply its vacancies to the site.
