Eight recruitment companies emerged among the UK’s 100 best small companies to work for in the annual Sunday Times rankings published yesterday [28 February 2010].

Eight recruitment companies emerged among the UK’s 100 best small companies to work for in the annual Sunday Times rankings published yesterday [28 February 2010].

The recruitment firm ranked highest on the list was Practicus, based in Henley-on-Thames, placed at No. 13. Also listed were:

  • Origin HR Consulting (28)
  • GCS (32)
  • Penta Consulting (33)
  • Taskmaster Resources (48)
  • Red Commerce (53)
  • Portfolio Payroll (59)
  • and Medicare First (84).

Human resources consultancy Savile Group, which offers talent management and career transition services, also made the list, appearing at No. 16.

Charities performed well on this year’s list, earning 11 places overall, along with communications, marketing and public relations agencies.

The Sunday Times Best Large Companies to work for list will be published on 7 March.
