Empresaria appoints Joost Kreulen as head of Asia

International staffing group Empresaria has appointed Joost Kreulen as head of Asia from 1 January.

Kreulen was, until recently, the managing director of the professional recruitment division of Vedior in the Netherlands and is also a former managing director of Select Appointments for the Netherlands and the Nordic countries.

Kreulen will be responsible for overseeing and supporting over 20 existing group companies in eight different countries as well identifying and helping develop new investments in the region.

Commenting on Kreulen’s appointment, Miles Hunt (pictured), group chief executive at Empresaria, said: “Joost has over years’ management experience and success in the staffing  industry, over 12 of these within the decentralised structure and entrepreneurial culture of Select/Vedior, a similar environment to that at Empresaria. He is already familiar with our management philosophy and I have no doubt will add immediate value to our developing operations in the region. We welcome him to the group.”
