Estate agent recruitment: Housing market collapse having ‘severe’ effect on estate agent positions
The collapse of the UK housing market is dramatically affecting estate agent vacancies, a recruiter has claimed.
John Tolmie, managing director of AA Appointments Group, told Recruiter that his property division was bearing the brunt of the downturn.
Tolmie said: “The continuing problems in the property market is severely limiting opportunities with estate agents. We really need some good news to resurrect the market. Fortunately the lettings side is still strong and allowing for the strong to survive.”
