Event offers in-house recruiters smart resourcing
Recruiter will launch its first annual conference and networking event for in-house recruiters in September.
Featuring 19 experts from top companies, Smart Resourcing 2010 will deliver insight into in-house recruiters’ most challenging dilemmas, from sourcing hard-to-find talent to resourcing with values across frontiers.
Paul Maxin, global head of resourcing for Unilever, will chair the one-day event. Featured confirmed speakers will include Essie Russell, global talent research and acquisition director, Diageo; Vikki Gartside, head of resourcing, Asda; Susan Bor, director of group resourcing, Royal Bank of Scotland; Alex Snelling, international recruitment and talent director, The Body Shop; Charlotte Griffiths, talent supply manager - UK, Ireland, Nordics, Procter & Gamble; and the winner of Recruiter’s Recruitment Personality of the Year Award 2010, Matthew Jeffery, global director of talent brand, Electronic Arts.
The line-up also includes Kevin Blair, senior regional recruitment manager EMEA, Oracle, and a regular contributor to Recruiter’s Bloggers with Bite column.
“Given Recruiter’s evolution over the past year in terms of embracing all stakeholders in the recruitment community, we felt this was the right time to help expand in-house recruiters’ knowledge through the expertise of some of their exceptional peers,” said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke.
“We’re also bringing together some of the finest minds in social media and effective internet use for sourcing to share their expertise during what will be a very memorable event for all.”
The conference will be held on 22 September at a London venue to be disclosed later. For more information, visit www.recruiterconferences.co.uk. To book tickets, ring +44 (0)20 7970 4770.
