Executive search consultants need a real “passion for people” allied with an understanding of business strategy, according to Tony Vardy, managing director of global executive search firm Korn/Ferry Whitehead Mann.

For more from Vardy, see the latest issue of Recruiter, out tomorrow, which also reveals the readiness of UK firms ahead of the impending Agency Worker Regulations and how Volt Europe helped technology giant 3M enhance their future graduate and IP recruiting process.

In addition, this issue’s sector focus examines how public sector recruitment departments are coping with cuts. And of course all the last fortnight’s top recruitment news.
