International IT services provider FDM Group has launched a project management and business analysis service under the banner of PMO, following its recruitment of 95 graduates onto its Project Analyst training stream.

FDM established its Project Analyst stream in March 2010 to capitalise on an increase in client demand for better project management methodologies

The Project Analyst programme gives training in project management tools and techniques; PRINCE 2; programme and project support office essentials; business analysis; and SQL, data manipulation and presentation using MS Excel, and Macro development using VBA.

Of the 95 graduates specialising in PMO, 31 are currently training to become project analysts at the FDM Academy, 17 are awaiting commercial placements with clients, and 47 are already working onsite with financial and media companies, including HSBC, RBS, UBS, Misys and Deutsche Bank.
