Tim Gilbert has been appointed sole managing director of Ambition’s UK operations, while James Ash has been appointed chief operating officer of Ambition UK and Asia.

The move follows the appointment of Guy Day as chief executive of Ambition Group.

Gilbert takes responsibility for leading the UK business and implementing the group’s new five-year strategic plan, while Ash will be responsible for taking charge of the operational strategy, IT systems and back office functions in the London, Hong Kong and Singapore offices.

Tim Gilbert said: “James’s and my aim was to create a business that people were proud to work for and it’s so rewarding to see our staff sentiment study show that 100% of staff in London enjoy their working environment and would recommend it to others.”

Ash added: “As a group we’re in financially sound shape, growing quickly again and the future is very exciting. Bringing a consistency to our global corporate services platform and leveraging the skills we have around the world will ensure that we are well positioned to deliver on our ambitious growth plans over the next five years.”
