GTI Resourcing Solutions: Indian contract secured

Some of India’s best graduates are set to take up internships in UK firms.

Some of India’s best graduates are set to take up internships in UK firms.

This follows UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) award of a new three-year contract to recruitment processing outsourcing applicant tracking system provider GTI Recruiting Solutions.

The UKIERI aims to improve educational links between the UK and India.

Employers of the first Indian talent interns, arriving in the UK in the autumn, will not have to worry about UK Borders Agency administration, accommodation, bank account issues and or even pastoral care. As managing agent, GTI Recruiting Solutions will look after all these aspects for the graduates.

GTI Recruiting Solutions is now working with UK firms to secure placements.

Interns can be from any degree discipline and will take up 12- to 50-week paid internships. The scheme runs until March 2011.

All successful candidates will undergo a rigorous competency-based screening process and participate in a two-week orientation at a leading university in the UK, before beginning work.
