Global recruiter Hays has launched Hays Russia with the opening of an office in Moscow and the appointment of Alexey Shteingardt as managing director. 

Global recruiter Hays has launched Hays Russia with the opening of an office in Moscow and the appointment of Alexey Shteingardt as managing director. 

A former business director for a European executive search firm, Shteingardt will initially lead a team of consultants who will focus on delivering permanent staffing solutions for professional, technical and administrative roles in accountancy & finance, pharma, IT and telecoms, engineering, HR, legal and sales & marketing, while Hays also plans to enter the oil & gas, banking and construction & property.

Hays has also launched Hays Executive in Russia to cater for senior managers and board director positions.

Nick Cox, managing director of Continental Europe & Rest of World at Hays, says: “We view Russia as a market with immense long-term potential and our entry into this market is an important step in our continued strategy of establishing operations in growth economies. 

“The opening of our office in Moscow completes our presence in all of the BRIC [Brazil, Russia, India and China] economies and we anticipate significant demand for our formula of success-based contingency recruitment.”
