Hays reports that permanent recruitment has seen the biggest increase in activity but temporary placements have also been steadily rising as confidence in the market has improved.
Hays adds that hires have become more strategic, with Scotland’s banking sector seeking candidates who can demonstrate evidence of winning new business, have excellent relationship management skills, and strong credit skills.
HR sector specialists are in demand and there has been an increase in IT roles with candidates are on the move again.
