Healthcare recruiter Healthcare Locums (HCL) has announced all discussions in relation to an approach for the firm have now ceased.

On 9 April  the board of HCL said that it had received an approach which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the firm.

In a statement, the company said: “The board of HCL announces that both parties have now agreed that all discussions in relation to this approach have now ceased. Accordingly the company is no longer in an offer period for the purposes of the takeover code.”
