Hospitality & Leisure Recruitment (HLR) has opened for business.
Led by founder and former chief executive of the Berkeley Scott Group, Roddy Watt, the new venture, part of Retail Human Resources, will start out with two offices.
One of the offices is in Bristol and led by Sally Wigg, previously manager of Berkeley Scott’s office in the City. Wigg is joined by consultants Charlotte Taylor and Adam Probets.
The other London office plans to appoint six experienced hospitality specialist recruiters by October. The team aims to expand across a broader spectrum of associated professional areas including sales & marketing and HR.
By the end of next year, the team is targeted to reach 24 and by the end of 2011, the aim is to have 40 consultants.
Watt says: “I am tremendously excited by the opportunity of building a market-leading recruitment enterprise and working with the exceptional team here at HLR. They are all highly experienced recruiters who are totally focused on the delivery truly outstanding levels of service to our clients.”
