International recruiter Hudson says it is ‘well positioned’ for the recovery as it has seen gross profit increase during the first quarter of the year.
Hudson recorded gross profit of £9.5m compared with £8m for the same period a year ago.
Jon Chait, Hudson chairman and chief executive, says: “Needless to say, the past 18 months have been extremely challenging for anyone in the recruitment field. We believe we are now well positioned to benefit from a market upturn.”
