Technical recruiter Matchtech Group has appointed Mathias Koch as managing director for Matchtech Germany.

Koch, most recently managing director for HIGH-END Engineering South, a member of the international acting Sogeclair Group, is responsible for business development, branding for the local German market and further growth of its automotive business, as well as team development and the day-to-day management of the company.

Group chief executive Adrian Gunn says: “The development of our German operation is key to the medium-term growth of the group, so it’s great to have Mathias on board. Mathias has a wealth of experience and the proven skill to internationalise our successful UK business model and make it fit for purpose for the German technical recruitment market.”
