Airline Emirates is to recruit 4,000 cabin crew worldwide, reports the Irish Examiner.

Four recruitment days are to be held across Ireland in the coming fortnight, with Emirates first flights on a new daily Dublin to Dubai route beginning 9 January.

Emirates already employs 232 Irish workers, of which 139 are cabin crew, all based in Dubai, according to the Examiner.

Emirates is the second UAE-based airline to launch a drive for Irish cabin crew this month. Recruiter reported on 10 October that Etihad is also looking for 100 new crew in the country.
