A new survey has revealed that HR managers jobs are not being supported fully by their company’s IT systems
More than half of UK human resources managers need more effective IT systems to support their work, according to a study by Taleco Research.
The study, The Gap Between IT and Strategy in the UK, found that 25% of HR managers feel that strategic HR function are not supported by their IT systems. Only 33% reported confidence in their current IT systems’ ability.
The study found that payroll and employee administration (68%) and evaluation and management reporting (53%) are adequately supported by IT.
However it found performance management (28%), leadership development and planning (25%) and workforce planning (25%) are not well supported by IT.
